okay so! by way of bikes, swim goggles, santa hats and ski gloves, i got (one of) my rolls of film developed! now i just need to fill up that other one... anyway, here's the "cream of the crop"!
we took over dairy queen after crew one day. and we weren't very well-behaved. oh no. we were loud and messy and not family-dining rated.

healing moods - seasons of tranquility
healing moods: uplifting piano music and nature sounds (actually very energizing. not upbeat to a distraction, but not complete numbing white noise)
deep sleep: a calming blend of piano and guitar (haven't listened to it yet)
tropical oasis: escape to the rhythm of the rainforest (there's one part when a bird caws really loud... it scared me. i jumped.)
peaceful ocean: relax to the rhythms of the ocean (makes me want to pee)
peace of mind: a soothing selection of acoustic guitar (very latin feel)
quiet moments: a soulful blend of guitar and ocean (haven't listened to it yet)

rise against - track 11
can't say if that's the actual name of the track, or if i was just dumb and never changed it to the real name. sorry. but it's good.
i was blind but now i see. all thanks to eyedrops. they work miracles.
plus side of chlorine! it burns off arm hair over time. i didn't even notice until a few weeks ago. awesome. i look like i shaved my arms and it's growing back.
so. i skipped english today to do christmas shopping and a report (and i finished both!). now, my mom is asking me to stay home tomorrow to wait for her treadmill to be delivered! so i get to sleep on the couch with my cool tiger blanket and wait for the doorbell.

mars volta - intertiatic esp
okay. i am not going to english tomorrow. i can't, and that's all there is to it. i haven't read madame bovary, or done any of the study forms. and i won't do them tonight. i have to do my religion presentation tonight. and tomorrow, i need to go buy christmas presents for a few people. that's what i have to do. so i'm going to do that instead of going to english. sorry.
duuude tuey and i went to water aerobics tonight! i almost died. it was all old people, and the lifeguard watching looked like he was going to die bored. but it was great fun! i'm going to try to mooch some money off my mom for wednesday.

rocky votolato - suicide medicine
ahh, what a weekend. nothing big. nothing hugely fantastic. just... fun.
well, okay, friday was a bit of a roller coaster. coming home, my mom had gone all out at costco with christmas stuff, and we sat around for an hour in new bathrobes looking at cute ornaments. very mother-daughter girl bonding time. then liz and i drove around to several places... one of which was the funniest things we've done together. i almost chickened out, but she went right up to the counter and... we seriously had to hold it together to get into the car before falling over laughing. at the dollar store, i found tons of nifty stuff, two of which were perfect presents for people i'm not too close with. so i got 'em! i hope they get a laugh. then tuey stood me up at the gym, so i had some downtime staring into my chili at home. and finally, josh came over for a few hours and we watched a lame dollar store movie, before just sittin' around talking and catching up.
saturday! oh man that was fun. got six hours in at work, then up to redmond! (but not before i got hit on at the gas station. i was trying not to laugh at the guy, and he took it as encouragement. !!) at david's! well it took an hour to get there. bad traffic on 405. a truck flipped completely over and a little rice rocket's hood was smashed in. who knows how it got that way? so at david's, i semi passed out on his bed while meghan and nick took an ink blot test. gene played computer games that david's classmates made. david fondled my hair. william showed up and we all got teriyaki! and subway. then we watched movies - equilibrium and love actually. and somehow we made all this take up about 6 or 7 hours. it was great! i love going up to david's. he's all crazy and obsessive, while william's all melancholy about romantic stuff. so i guess it'll be another month before i see them again.
and today, nothing super special, except i slept in and got another 7 hours in at work, and now i get to write a report due tomorrow.
