daft punk - around the world

i have gotten so into techno-ish music lately. not the stuff they play on 89.5 but more like... well, daft punk, gorillaz, prodigy, rammstein. something less fluffy and more intrigueing. i spelled that wrong, i know it. oh well.
taking interest in random articles on the internet again. rotten library is a good source for biographies, and pretty much any information on any topic. wikipedia, too, if you haven't caught on to that yet. hallucinogenic drugs are really getting my attention, and i'm about to scour the bookstores for three specific books: plants of the gods, food of the gods, and the magic mushroom grower's guide. scott promises he'll buy me one of the three for christmas, or some deadpool comics. really, any of them work.
crew officially ended today and i celebrated by eating 5 cupcakes and curling up in my pj's at 5:30, reading a book by leon uris. tomorrow i get some papers for my mom to sign, wednesday i go in for physical therapy. friday i suppose sarah and i will start our running thing, since i completely blanket about wednesday and set up my appointment right in the middle of when we should be stretching out.
so here's the awesome weekend plan! if i'm not working this weekend, or if i can find someone to sub for me, david and i are heading up to bellingham! i'll visit brent, who i've been missing like i miss my pre-menstrual years. we'll hang out for a few hours, maybe a whole afternoon, walking the streets and drinking coffee and him introducing me to his friends. maybe we can play a little pool, who knows? i'll also spend lots of time with meghan, david's sister, and his old roommate nick, plus whoever else shows up at the apartment. i'm expecting lots of halo2 and anime. and philosophical debates on the drive up.
then of course i don't have OSC this wednesday, while makes me absolutely thrilled! i'll spend it by sleeping in, of course. and soon brent will be back for thanksgiving, which should be a total blast.
