the whole weekend was great. crew thursday was fun, the drive up to the san juan's was great, i stuck my left foot out the window most of the drive and pushed the buick as fast as it would go (about 80). i hung out with brent and his friends in bellingham, we got stoned and walked around the town and the campus for an hour or two. we watched movies and fell asleep on couches. in the morning i got books and sat around all day at the cabin, did a 7 mile bike ride yesterday and this morning, got tanned and relaxed and basically just vegged. it was great.
and now that i'm home, all the stress just swamped back into my life. huge arguments between my parents and my brothers. arguments between me and scott. the house is a mess. and now more than ever i'm noticing just how alone i am these days.

boring boring boring day. oh, well, except for the whole locking my keys in the car at crew thing. we piled 7 people into michelle's car, then riley and i sat at mcdonald's with our smoothies while we waited for steph and bobby to show up. tuey is a life saver! i love that girl, she got scott's spare keys and drove them to me, then took me back to my car. she's wonderful. so while we were at mcdonald's michelle spilled her water straight into riley's lap, poor kid, it was hilarious. i've got tomorrow to get through, then it's up to bellingham and lummi island. fun, i hope!

i learned this awesome new trick at jamie's tonight. if you lick your skin, you can smell whatever scent is on you ten times better. so we were all sitting around licking our arms and the room stank of chlorine. that's what you get when you put a bunch of people who work at a pool into the same room. anyway, today wasn't so bad, steph and i bought a thighmaster! it's awesome, we think it might actually work. i left it at her house though. we had an awesome time running around gi joe's with bobby. i stole him a pair of sunglasses - he bought me a nalgene bottle. oh yeah, and emily has a crescent bruise on her arm from where i bit her last week. awesome! i bit ryan so he could match. anyway, i got people to cover my hours sunday so i get to go up to alki after all! i'm excited. hopefully it'll be fun, yeah?

whoa buddy... that was a very, very long weekend. saturday, woke up bright and early, took a shower before work (and didn't take one again until about 3 this afternoon!) work on saturday, damn, it seems like a verrry long time ago... so after work i tried calling steph, and she was really pissing me off for some reason...
oh yeah, because she was sitting around smoking with brandon and luke when we were supposed to go find a party. brandon's cool, don't get me wrong. i went to steph's today and it cracked me up, we'd been arguing about spiders last week, he went and research them and tacked the printouts onto steph's fridge to prove that he'd been right. so yes, hobo spiders and brown recluses are different spiders. but that doesn't help at all because we'd been arguing about if brown recluses can bite people or not (i said they can. i was right.) so yeah brandon's anal and funny and we fight all the time but he's cool. it just really ticks me off that steph seems to never go anywhere or do anything interesting if brandon's not there along with her. ....
and so i was really pissed off about that saturday, so jon and i went down to dumas bay and threw a frisbee around behind the family center. it was a very somber trip, mostly, just us sitting around and bitching about how much this summer has sucked so far. then right before we left we stole a blanket that some people had left in the field while they went down to the beach. we booked it for my car, and the people came back just as we took off running, so it was really really funny. and it made the whole trip seem better. and then we watched starsky and hutch at his house.
when i finally came home saturday night, voila, brent and the bellingham kids were there! we drank a little, talked a little, then headed off to play pool, where i sucked it up half the time and kicked major ass the rest of the time. me 'n eric won when we played doubles. it was cool. and then we went to steel lake where some people went skinny dipping but i didn't, because i was with my brothers. they didn't either, thank god. came home and drank a little more, watched forest gump, and eventually crawled into bed around 4 or 5 am.
aw, michelle! that girl's wonderful. she came by at 8 or 9 and woke me up, and off we went to tacoma where we got bikes, rode over to ellie's, then down to pointe defiance. doesn't sound bad, does it? except it was a really really long ride. and my ass got bruised. and ellie and i are lazy bums, while michelle is like this nazi bikeaholic. eventually we crashed at a bus stop and waited for michelle's dad to pick us up with his truck. and later we went up to alki, where we got some sexy looks and tried swimming, but it was wayyy too cold. so instead we sat on the blanket and ate cookies. watched animal house with josh. oh it was awesome! right before josh left, i finally got to do what i've always wanted to do in his jeep. i hopped in the passengers seat, stood up tall and grabbed onto the bar over the windshield, and had him speed all around the neighborhood for me. it was beautiful. i want to do it again. so josh left and us girls went skinny dipping by ourselves at steele lake, which was actually hilariously funny... it was like bath water, i highly recommend the experience. i'm hoping to do it again soon, with more people.
so basically that was sunday. got about 4 hours of sleep. then we all got up and went to crew. which was fun! nice and sunny, the way i like it. ... so basically i've gotten very little sleep lately, and i almost passed out on my couch while watching princess mononoke after crew. but i didn't. i took a shower (finally!) and went over to tuey's. and bobby was there! he's out of jail, out of montana, and living with steph for the next couple months. we got that 3 pizzas for $5 each deal, went down to dumas bay and ate it, played some frisbee. this one dog (oh that dog was so cool! he tore up grass) anyway the dog bit a hole through my frisbee. so i'll be needing a new one soon.
anyway back at tuey's i fell asleep on her couch for a while, then in her room, then i played this cool video game with her and bobby where we shot lots of zombies. it was cool. but i'm tired.
