blink 182 - mother's day

i don't know if that's the name of the song or not... whatever, it's playing in the next room. tetris tournament. ten million times better than halo tournaments.
today... shoreline. beautiful. the sun was shining the whole day, a light breeze flowing through the beautiful tree-lined streets. we... okay i will finish this later, luke and i are going to play fusion frenzy.

saves the day - certain tragedy

oh, so hey! elaina's here! she got here yesterday evening, and it's just been fantastic since. seriously. so much stuff has happened, so much more is going to happen. yesterday we were going to go to the supermall. we were almost there (so close!) when she saw the exit for seattle... and we decided to go to seattle instead. we ended up at cole's house! it was so fun. we went down to the beach and climbed the waterfall again, only this time it was dark and impossible to see where to go. my pants got all wet, my feet got all sandy. it was great. later we were driving around trying to find someone... ended up at jake's. i haven't seen him since i went up there 2 summers ago. he's changed a lot, but still the same. you know how wine gets better with age? that's jake. jake is wine.
we had to leave eventually, after giving jake the ever-blessed dollar for a coke that he hadn't drunk in several days. we're going back there tomorrow morning, for most of the day. we'll be home in time for elaina to leave at 5, then i'll be over at tuey's the rest of the night.
and today? we were up at 8. drove my mom to work. sat around southcenter eating cinnabon, then windowshopped until all the shops opened up. i spent a lot of money, bought new clothes and cd's and a poster, and it was wonderful. hit up goodwill, came back home and picked up my job applications - turned them in. elaina met russ, she agrees with me about how beautiful he is. did the lifeguarding thing - skipped out early to pick up my mom from work. went to tuey's, ate at applebee's (GOOD FOOD!), wandered the mall a little. went back to tuey's. her mom gave me bandaids for my toes and a pina colada. ate birthday cheesecake - came home again and watched a little of say anything, but now... well, i'm not watching it now. i'll watch it later i guess.

social distortion - story of my life

right after the lifeguarding thing. my eyes were full of chlorine, dried out and red. i went to the library and stumbled around for a few minutes, talked to neko for a while. came home and passed out, woke up 5 hours later freezing my butt off because i forgot to shut my window. and now there's no chance in hell i'll make it back to sleep.
pictures of you and i, they always make me smile, even at the worst of moments.
unsung zeros. high-pitched squeely singer, but the lyrics are pretty.
it is really really cold in my room. just so you know. i went downstairs, and when i came back up and opened my door, a waft of cold air blew in my face, and you could feel the air seeping into the hall.

garbage - special

i now know how to escape from a person trying to drown me. awesome!
i got more little buddha guys to add to the collection. they're all just so happy! of course i really need to find a different store to buy them from.
walking around the supermall was bad for me. now i want to spend all that hard earned money of mine on stupid crap like shoes and shorts and shirts and books. even though i do need new shoes.
i should probably clean my room again. there is crap all over the place. papers and soda cans and dirty clothes... it's gross. and not at all a work environment.

eagles - peaceful, easy feeling

i know they'll get mad when they eventually figure out we've been watching movies with their money. but until then, as long as he's the one always paying, i'm okay. i can always say i didn't know better.

blondie - dreaming

i smell like chlorine. ugh.

dead boys - sonic reducer

i downloaded this song 2 weeks ago, and this is the first time i've listened to it.
while scott was trying to convince me to read a book, he said "it sounds really exciting to found your own country." this was right after he was talking about smuggling in explosives and killing all the people that are getting in your way. now obviously, this was a lot funnier then than it sounds now.
i bought nifty goggles for the class tomorrow. wish me luck on the 20 laps, kay? i need all the help i can get.
spent a few hours at rory's watching school of rock. i think i finally found a use for my tux shirt! all i need is some red electric tape.
