the la's - there she goes

there's something about a day that doesn't start out with 6 hours in a place i really don't want to be, that puts me in a better mood. i skipped school today - god, i am so terrible. but no. i didn't sleep in much, i didn't shit around doing nothing for hours on end like i tend to do during the summer and on weekends. i got up, got active. sort of. close enough. and everything has been easier. i've been in a better mood, more motivated. maybe the gym had something to do with it too, who knows? endorphins work wonders.
someday, you know, i'll be able to yell and laugh and be loud like i used to. i'll shout just so i can hear the echo of my voice. you'll see.
you should've seen the look on his face when i told him about the concert - i gave him nothing definite, just a few vague descriptions and the location. he grinned like he was 5 years old, and santa just gave all this year's christmas presents to him. i like making people smile like that.
