friday huh? aright, well matt was at one of the camp sites, and he told me right as i was hanging up the phone. so. barely missed him and all. today was over at evan's, got my pictures from fred meyer, they look good! watched a lot of tv and didn't do much else with evan, derek, and aaron. later went to a party at alan's. it was kinda weird at first, i didn't really know anyone. met aaron's girlfriend, stephanie, she's really fun. played some pool and watched people play video games and walked around a lot. talked to a lot of the same people, didn't really meet anyone new, but it's alright. it was fun! i hope alan does it again, i really liked the people who were there.
so other than that, not a lot's new. today was really nice. spent a good chunk of time with old friends, and another chunk with new ones. i like that mix. i really wish i could do it every day. only spend a little more time outside, 'cause i like the sun and all.
it's funny. aaron says i'm getting worse since i've been at decatur. y'know, at zoning out and misinterpreting things and just... being dumb. but i think it would've happened at fed too, or really anywhere. i think i'm just naturally going to get dumber as i get older. all my life i've considered being smart as a good, but unpopular trait. so i tried to act less intelligent. and now i can't stop!
